Timebomb by Upasana Nath

A wait I know
Is waiting for me
But I have to go
To the sea
Sea shells lie hidden in the sand
I have to get them
To make a garland
I have no gem

Before the sun goes down
Awry darkness breezes in
Time must not have flown
Wiping the slates clean
So I have to go
Past the crowds and the camps
With a ticking bomb in tow

Upasana Nath
Something summons the words that I store in myself. And when they are summoned, there is no stopping. I forget myself in my own imagination and go away on journeys that seem like lifetimes. That is me.
