I Dream in Tears by A.J. Huffman

Frustration,
rage, and
regret
pound my mind
into an arid ocean
of oblivion.  Black
and white cannot be
escaped.  Gray
is a conscious choice
I swallow as I force myself
to wade into waking.

A.J.
