Only the End by Tamsen Grace

Gasping out your name
Colors swirl in my mind,
Red,
as I dance closer
to the flame,
Intense, hot, burning,
Blue,
the  color of yearning,
longing for something
I would never let happen.
Random colors
swirling into one,
Erupts in an explosion.
black,
the end,
all I could ever
let it mean,
black,
as I close my eyes
and fall asleep.
