Geometer Moth by Gregory Luce

A tiny arrowhead
in brown muslin rests
on the balcony table
pointing east
if I hover my hand near
it does not move
is it pointing me
somewhere
a flicker and
it’s gone and then
it reappears on
the ceiling inside
pointing out.
