Now You See Wat I see by Joe Balaz

a) keyboard waiting to respond like wun machine gun.

b) white screen wide open like wun willing virgin.

c) composer prepped and loaded on anadah Moscow Mule.

Vamoose!  Inspiration is on da loose!

Wun small mischievous guy
wit red skin and horns

stay whispering in my ear

while adah little angelic guy on da adah side
is giving me haloed advice in wun tiny voice.

Ying and yang and da whole shebang
and wun gallery of selections to choose from.
I’ll take wun shake rattle and roll
and wun side order of improvised fries

to go wit my expressive burger.
Look at how I arrange all da letters
on da flat polarized snow

da solid angular cloud

da wedding gown rectangle
dat stay in front of your eyes.
Let me add moa ballistic x, y, and z
to da typography

and see if it will compute.
Bang, bang, bang!

Read between da lines
as da silver bullets fly

and all da projectiles
get shot into your retinas.
Hocus pocus
it’s suddenly in focus

and da narrative
is turned right side up in your brain—
Now you see wat I see.
