Ritualistic Romance by Mike Zone

“Doesn’t anyone want to;
Fuck me? Love me? Marry Me?
Tell me I’m beautiful?”
We’re in bed with a lit match
and can of gas
“I want someone not to want to lose me”
“Sure baby, I’ll feed that fire…
Come a little closer…”
Lustful flame but our dying embers
dead dramas equal the kindling
ashes blow nowhere
love- smells like forgotten smoke
