Resonance by Ken Allan Dronsfield

Patterned pain from the lost kindred
resonance of love felt by the heartless
wanton telling of tales in lost tongue
a whistling rhyme vibrates Plato’s ear.
Tasting dreams of all spoiled children
orbs adrift disappearing before dawn
a pious discontent is left in the soul
liars are often cowering underground.
Alight upon the head of a icy needle
street urchins smile for a lone dollar
a red tide abates at the lowest ebb
whirling about we simply wait to die.
Vibration causation in a feted toddy
watch lava destroy a lonely memoir
pen your lines to a summers crush
a resonance of love just drifts away.
