Diaper Rash by Jay Passer

flowers go ack-ack and
birds fall out of the sky.

when has it never been
high time for war.

I dreamt about it
over a breakfast of blue bones

in the non-drama of dawn,
a masquerade of royalty, televised.

how about my new blue body
armored like a gecko,

while women with kinky platinum hair
whisper night, constantly.
