Monody by Sanjeev Sethi

We shared our sorrow
signed a contract
of closeness.

There was no covenant,
no signet. Sentience certified us.
Spirographics implored the scoffers.

When feelings flickered blizzards
did their bit. Tapped
by tempestuousness, did we care?
