She Drops Parcels From Her Mouth by Gareth Culshaw

She took her tongue around
talking rapids of syllables
when the door opened.

The streets as long as she wanted.
While they waited for orders
her jaw crunched her past

ready to release the tension.
Until money is passed then
like an opening of day

her smile stretched a yellow tinge.
Pockets full, the car wheels
spun dust into the air with not
a care of who or what was behind.

Gareth lives in Wales. He is an aspiring writer who hopes one day to achieve something special with the pen.

  1. Intriguing scenario, Gareth! You make the reader slow-down and think twice about the interaction going on.
    Well done!
